It's depressing; it happened right when I got back from a week trip in Mexico and right when I was about to play Soul Calibur4 too.

your elite got rrod? I have a core system and its working fine for being 3 years old and all.

The older Elites have issues. We had one - we were about to send it back, but after all the hassle - just did a towel trick (E74 error though.) Worked for a good solid couple of weeks, and then we ended up buying an Arcade, keeping the HD from the Elite.
